🔧Setup Guide (Adult Only)▼

Preparation
Place tank on a level, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources and electrical appliances.

Cleaning
Wipe inside with a damp cloth. Rinse gravel with cold water only — no soap.

Decoration
Create a sloped gravel bed — deep at the back, shallow at the front. Add ornaments as desired.

Filling
Fill ¾ full with lukewarm water. Adult must install the filter per the manual, then fill to 2–3 cm from the top.

Water Treatment
Adult must add water conditioner to neutralise chlorine and chloramines before the tank is safe for fish.

Cycling — Critical Step
Do not add fish until water is tested and balanced. Consult your local aquatic store about cycling the tank first.

  • Suitable for temperate or tropical fish and invertebrates only. Coldwater fish (e.g. goldfish) are not suitable for this size aquarium.
  • Use the "Fish Points" guide in your manual to find the correct number of fish. Overcrowding causes poor water quality.
  • Never release aquarium fish or plants into UK waterways. Illegal under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and damages native ecosystems.
  • If you can no longer care for your fish, return them to your local aquatic store for responsible rehoming advice.
