1. Order Processing & Handling

       Warehouse: 308 Stanningley Rd, Bramley, Leeds LS13 3EG, United Kingdom.

       Handling Time: 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding UK public holidays).

       Order Cut-Off: Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT begin processing the next business day.

       Tracking Confirmation: Shipping confirmation email with tracking number sent upon dispatch.

📦  Example (Standard Shipping, order placed Monday): Handling Tuesday–Thursday → Dispatched Thursday → Delivery by the following Monday or Tuesday. Maximum: 7 business days from order.

3. Shipping Destinations & Customs

United Kingdom

All UK orders are subject to applicable UK VAT at the prevailing rate, displayed at checkout. No customs formalities are required for UK domestic shipments.

Who Pays

Under €150

VAT collected at checkout via IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop). Our IOSS Number is declared on all customs declarations.

TjsPets collects VAT at checkout — no surprise charges on delivery.

Under €150 (from 1 July 2026)

A fixed EU customs duty of €3 per item applies in addition to IOSS VAT (EU Council decision, December 2025). Shown at checkout where possible.

€150 and over

Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Subject to customs clearance in destination country.

Customer is responsible for all import duties and customs clearance fees.

 

⚠️  We strongly recommend checking with your local customs office for the latest rules before ordering. Customs regulations are subject to change.

4. Order Tracking & Delivery

       You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. TjsPets is not liable for non-delivery due to an incorrect address.

       Tracking: Use the tracking number in your shipping confirmation email on the carrier website (Royal Mail or DPD).

       Failed Delivery: If delivery cannot be completed, the parcel may be held at a local depot or returned. If returned to us, re-shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

5. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

       Delayed Tracking: If no tracking update for 7 consecutive business days beyond the maximum delivery window, contact us.

       Lost Package: Officially 'lost' if no movement for 10 business days beyond the maximum window, or the carrier formally confirms loss.

       Resolution: Full refund (including original shipping) or replacement  your choice. Initiated immediately upon confirmation.

Note: TjsPets is not responsible for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier but subsequently reported stolen. Please contact the carrier and local police in such cases.

6. Incorrect or Damaged Items on Arrival

       Action: Refuse delivery if outer packaging is visibly severely damaged, or contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos.

       Resolution: Full refund or replacement. TjsPets covers all return shipping costs. This is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Shipping Restrictions

       PO Boxes: Some carriers cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. Provide a physical street address.

       Hygiene Products: Certain opened items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. This does not affect your rights for damaged or incorrect items.
