1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to TjsPets.co.uk. These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from TjsPets. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or place an order.

2. Eligibility

1. You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your country).

2. You have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

3. You are ordering from a jurisdiction where our products may be legally purchased.

3. Product Information & Accuracy

• Pet Products: We strive for accurate colours, weights, and ingredients. We cannot guarantee your device's display exactly reflects the product.

• Pricing Errors: In the event of a clear pricing error or misdescription, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund. We will notify you immediately. In all other cases, the price at checkout is binding once a contract is formed.

4. Placing an Order & Contract Formation

• Order Submission: When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase at the stated price and on these Terms.

• Order Confirmation Email: This acknowledges receipt of your order it is NOT acceptance of your offer.

• Contract Formation: A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send you a Shipping Confirmation email. Prior to dispatch, we may cancel for any reason (e.g., stock unavailability, payment issues) and will issue a full refund.

5. Pricing & Payment

• Currency: Prices in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) unless stated otherwise.

• VAT/Taxes: Clearly displayed at checkout based on your location.

• Payment Methods: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Shopify Payments.

• Security: PCI DSS compliant processing. We do not store full card details.

6. Shipping

All shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• Warehouse: 308 Stanningley Rd, Bramley, Leeds LS13 3EG, United Kingdom.

• Handling Time: 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding UK public holidays). Orders after 2:00 PM GMT begin processing next business day.

• Economy Shipping: 5–8 business days after dispatch (Royal Mail, full tracking). Total: up to 11 business days.

• Standard Shipping: 3–4 business days after dispatch (DPD, full tracking). Total: up to 7 business days.

• Risk of Loss: Remains with TjsPets until confirmed delivered. Title passes to you upon delivery.

7. Refunds & Returns

All returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• Return Window: 30 calendar days from receipt (exceeds the statutory 14-day minimum).

• Faulty/Incorrect Items: Full refund or replacement under Consumer Rights Act 2015. Rights extend beyond 30 days see Return Policy.

• Refund Processing: Within 5 business days of approval, plus 5–10 banking days. Maximum 14 calendar days total.

8. Right of Withdrawal (UK & EU Consumers)

If you are a UK or EU consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. We extend this to 30 days. Use the Standard Withdrawal Form in Annex A of our Return Policy, or any clear written statement.

9. User Accounts & Conduct

• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for confidentiality of login credentials and all activity under your account.

• Accurate Information: Provide accurate, current, and complete information.

• Prohibited Conduct: No unlawful use, harmful content, harassment, or infringement of our intellectual property.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website logos, text, images, graphics, descriptions, software is owned by TjsPets or its licensors and protected by UK and international copyright law. Reproduction, distribution, or modification without express written permission is prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

• Consumer Rights Preserved: Nothing here limits your statutory rights under UK or EU law.

• Exclusions: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

• Non-Excludable Liability: We cannot and do not exclude liability for death or personal injury by negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; defective products under Consumer Protection Act 1987; or any other non-excludable liability.

• Pet Products Disclaimer: We are not liable for adverse reactions except where caused by a product defect. Read product descriptions carefully and consult a vet if your pet has specific health conditions.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• UK Customers: Governed by laws of England and Wales. Disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Leeds, UK.

• EU Customers: You may also bring proceedings in your country of residence under local consumer protection laws.

ℹ️ EU ODR Platform Update: The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was permanently discontinued on 20 July 2025. For consumer dispute resolution in the EU, visit: https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies For Digital Services Act disputes, contact a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body in your country.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

All personal data collected through this website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with UK GDPR and EU GDPR. By using our site, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. For material changes affecting your rights, we will provide advance notice where reasonably practicable. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
